Valentine's day!

The cold snap continues and continues to depress me - I had been hoping to get out for a ride this morning but we again awoke to freezing temperatures and flurries of snow. So instead am opting for a swim.

Being Valentine's day it is our oldest son's birthday so Mrs M has been busy in the kitchen - we are not only having a batch of her famously delicious scones but also my favourite dessert Lemon Fluff. If I am really good it may not be the only fluff coming my way!

Another sportive

Now signed up to the Duncton sportive on 9 May - Lawrence (18) is joining me and so we are doing the short 70km ride. Should be a good route though and not so much climbing
