Blown to bits

As it is back to old Blighty on the evening flight I got out early for a shorter 'wind down' loop which turned out to be hard work on account of extremely blustery conditions - at one point I turned a corner and was almost brought to a standstill by a powerful blast of headwind. Third ride out on the new Mavic wheels and whilst they are at the base end of what Mavic offer, they do seem to perform well and offer a slightly more cushioned ride. Post service the bike is also running smoother than before. Now up to my 2009 total distance of just over 1,900 kms and have 2010's total firmly in my sights.
